Mission

Dean Foundation is dedicated to improving health care, increasing health education and advancing clinical research.

Our purpose is to sponsor public service and health education in the communities we serve, and conduct and sponsor health-related research through local healthcare providers.

Board of Directors

Dean Foundation is governed by a volunteer, uncompensated Board of Directors composed of eleven individuals. There are five physician slots on the Board, to be filled by Dean physicians/shareholders and six community based slots, to be filled by individuals representing the community’s interests and the public at large.

The Board of Directors generally meets bi-monthly to develop Foundation policy, fulfill their fiduciary responsibilities, oversee administration and plan the future of the organization.

The Foundation’s administration is responsible for program planning and development, budget development and monitoring, personnel/human resources administration, public relations and community relationship development and general support of the organization’s infrastructure.

Dean Foundation has had a proud record of growth, development and expansion since its inception in 1986. Dean Foundation’s Board of Directors, its Dean Health System supporters and friends, and the Foundation’s dedicated staff look forward to continued growth and future opportunities to serve Southern Wisconsin and its residents in the future.
