Wearable Defibrillator Research offers insight into Cardiac Arrest
July 17th, 2009The wearable external defibrillator may look like it’s right out of a sci-fi movie but it could be the key to understanding the who, what and why of heart attacks.
Currently, Dean Foundation’s cardiology research department and Dr. Peter Lee are one of 60 sites across the country participating in the first clinical trial using a wearable defibrillator called the LifeVest®. Click here to read more about the study.
